Type of a scam Tech Support
If you scroll to the bottom you'll see a disclaimer that they have no association with Apple, but I didn't do that at the time. After logging and describing my problem I received this message:

There was a technical issue with your Account.
Call our customer care for assistance.
I spoke with a technician and gave them access to my ipad. They worked on my problem and eventually told me that my IP was compromised. They wanted access to my bank info and I balked. Then they hung up on me. I removed the app that gave them permission to access my ipad from my phone. After scanning and checking my records, it seems no harm was done. Still on the alert.
