They had me download Telegram for a WFH job offer interview. Like the desperate job seeker I am I believed they were legit. I didn’t think the pay rate they offer was too good to be true, as it is slightly more than what I’m used to. They offered 35/hr once full time. They even stated they’d send a check to set up your home office. Unfortunately they convinced me to fill out the onboarding documents that included my Social Security Number, my account info, and picture of front and back of my drivers license. After filling all of that out I haven’t heard a word back from them. That’s when I knew I just got scammed. Now I have to go purchase identity protection for my personal information’s safety!
