I received a text from someone or an entity claiming that ICBC (Insurance Corporation of British Columbia) had sent me an Interac e-transfer, and then provided a link to view the e-transfer. I did not tap on the link, and I confirmed with ICBC that they do not send any rebates, refunds, etc. via e-transfer. The text message itself did look like an "official" e-transfer message.
