I received a debt collection notice for a hospital. After calling the hospital to verify that I had no debt from them or a physician I realized this was a scam.

I received a call from a 208 number (deleted and blocked the number so I am unable to report the number) asking for my address or PIN for verification without even stating who they were first. I asked who was calling and the man simply said his first and last name and asked me for my address again. I told him that I do not give out my address to just anyone who calls and asked what company he works for and he said IC System. I told him I had no idea what he was talking about and he said he would call back and hung up. I googled IC System and saw that it was a debt collection agency. I immediately checked my credit report and confirmed that I do not have any debt and there is no account with IC System on my credit report.

I received a call from IC System. They said that I owed $400 and were trying to get me to pay it. I don't owe anyone any money.
