I just received a check for $4,500, and instructions to text Mr. David at 307-316-224-, and include my full name, check amount, and check number.
I plan on contacting the FBI on this as he has my full name, and address.

I applied to the Hype Energy job to have someone place decals on my car or bike. Now I only have a bicycle but the guy said that it was acceptable, which first of all seemed weird. I then received a check for $1, 950.00 with a note from a guy named David asking me to provide my full name, the amount on the check, and the check number. There was no information included about how the process of placing the decals works or anything so I knew something was fishy. Someone began texting my cell from another number from Idaho insisting that i deposit the check as soon as possible. I thought that was weird. I kept asking him questions and he would dodge them by assuring me i have nothing to worry about nothing will happen to me. That was another red flag. The whole putting decals on a bicycle and getting paid $500 a week for it? That is way to good to be true. That's the other thing too, the check was made out for way more than $500. I went online and researched the company that supposedly made out the check: Turelk General Building Contractor and I couldn't see how that ties in with putting decals for an energy drink. Lastly, I just simply entered the phone number the guy told me to text with the info and this alert came up for a scam. Thank God I listened to my instincts, but I wanted to put my story out there so innocent people like me don't get fooled by this scam. The guy kept telling me he didn't need any of my bank info that it was impossible for him to scam me if i am just depositing a check. I never got around to depositing it for the reasons i stated above and I'm sure once I did he would have then asked me to wire money to someone else. In the text messages he sent me he said I could keep $500 and then the rest I send back. The whole thing is the checks are fake! Be careful people, the check will eventually bounce and you will have to pay the overdraft fee and money back!
