Type of a scam Online Purchase
To receive your "free sample" you have to give your credit card number and pay $4.95 shipping.
Buried deep within a TERMS link (and only there, no other notices on the web site or the on-line order form) is the information that you are signing up for monthly shipments, and that unless you cancel within 15 days, you will be billed for your "risk free" product as well.
The exorbitant price and restrictive cancellation policy is only visible on the terms page.
Once you realize you are receiving repeat shipments, there is no indication of the vendor or price on the package or packing slip. We had to dig through bank statements to find out how much we were being charged.
From Terms page:
D. If You are satisfied with the Product and wish to continue to receive the Product on a monthly basis, You need do nothing else. Upon the expiration of the Trial Period, on Day 15, Your credit card will be billed for the full cost of the Product that You ordered (i.e., a thirty day supply) at the rate of $89.71.
E. On the 45th day following the date You first ordered Your Product, Avalure Anti-Aging will renew your monthly subscription for another thirty (30) days supply of the Product, and the credit card You provided to us will be automatically billed for the Product $94.66.
F. Unless You cancel this service, every thirty (30) days thereafter Avalure Anti-Aging will renew your subscription for an additional thirty (30) days supply of the Product You ordered, and the credit card You provided to us will be automatically billed for the Product $94.66.
