I received a response from their online website about yorkies for sale. I paid $500 for one name teddy. I received an email to change ownership and then afterwards another person called asking for $995 to pay to ship the dog and I would get the money back once the dog is delivered. I put the money on a vanilla Visa card because I did not want to use my personal account. I want other people to be aware of these people.

I purchased a teacup yorkie online from a website that looked legitimate but as I am finding out I was scammed! I paid $550.00 for the puppy and all was on track. Today I received an email that I needed to send 995.00 more for insurance for the puppies travels. That came out of nowhere. I wanted to use PayPal but they said that they only had Zelle. When I said I did not have the money so I would like a refund and the said the dog was mine so I will have to face the court ministry. There was the biggest red flag! Never use Zelle to purchase anything online. Your money is not secured against fraud like it is with PayPal or a credit card. The person who called about the insurance had a very thick accent and was very rude. They are saying they are using a pet shipping company. Ecoexpresspetshipping company. Please be careful.
