Reached out to be about a position of administrative assistant at FibroGen. Did interview over Trillian IM app as hiring manager Tricia Stewart. Had me write an essay that was supposed to be paid for. Sent me start up check for $4800+ to deposit and send picture of receipt. Was supposed to start March 26th. I have not heard back from them since sending proof of deposit. I told them my bank needed to speak with someone but no response.
