I was emailed about a job for remote office assistant. The email directed me to contact the hiring manager via Twinme. It's a private messaging system he used to conduct interviews. Everything seemed legit I did my research. The interview was with a man named Johnathan Reed. He asked me a series of questions and I had fifteen minutes to answer. Afterwards he asked for my id and address to verify my identity. He then proceeded to process the information and about five minutes later he sent me an offer letter and w4 form to fill out. When I submitted them, he told me we would continue the next day at 8am. I showed up on time but he was an hour and a half late. When he arrived he told me about training and when asked me to pick out which products from the company I would prefer to use for the work office they were sending. I picked my items and he tells me there will be no cost for the items but I'd have to pay 350 for shipping and it would be reimbursed on my first check. I declined to pay the money and he changed into a different person. Started making comments about how the company loses money to blacks for stealing company property. He then went on to make all other derogatory comments about my age and what I looked like. Before I could respond, he cleared the chat and blocked my contact. I have Norton LifeLock to protect from identity theft but this guy or whoever they are needs to be stopped.
