I was contacted via text from Brooke Cheney of Humanigen, Inc from 941-893-1636 stating they received my resume from Indeed for a Remote Data Entry Analyst position with a pay of $35/hr, part time. I was then asked to download Signal Private Messenger and to contact Erika Lillian at 518-917-4175. Did the interview, was accepted and then they really started pushing for me to deposit the check they were sending to cover office expenses. I had been trying to contact Humanigen Inc to confirm this job offer was legit but haven't been able to confirm anything. Something was off since this is a medical research company and there are no background checks or anything. After reading the other employment scams, I am reporting this as a scam.
