Directed to a call in number for technical support for hulu activation, then told to get the askdesk app and then directed to use Zelle to transfer money to their account

My Hulu streaming service noted I had to validate my account. I went to Hulu.com and was directed to go to validation. The screen stated I had to call to validate. The man on the phone appeared knowledgeable about my Hulu account and led me to Venmo. He assured me all would be zeroed out with no cost to me. He proceeded to say I had to authenticate my Amazon account and attempted to get credit card info. When I refused at that point he disconnected. I lost $ 294 from my debit card and $428 from my checking account.

I turned on my television and was unable to access my account, HULU prompted my to activate my account. I received an activation code and told to go to www.Hulu.com/activate. I was then told to call customer service. The man had me make two GameStop gift card purchases on Amazon to verify my account . He said I wouldn’t be charged. The he took me to a GameStop website to purchase another gift card. He said it was verification only. I was not getting charged. I have contacted my bank and PayPal and shut down my HULU service. I also changed my iPhone,Amazon and Paypsl passwords.
