Wanting to activate my Hulu account, I received a code on my TV to enter on my computer. When I entered the code on my computer, a notice came up saying there was a problem on Hulu's end and for me to click on "Chat Support". Asked for a phone number so tech could call. I entered my phone number and a foreign speaking guy told me in order to begin Hulu service, I had to pay a one-time activation fee of $49.95 that went into effect Sept. 1, 2022. I declined to do that. He then said I could get the service for $6.99, but had to download information. I declined to do that. He said OK and he would email me a link to activate Hulu. I hung up and never received that link. All of this never happened in previous times of subscribing to Hulu or any other streaming service. I realized in the nick of time he was a scammer and wanted into my computer. He was REALLY SLICK. BEWARE!!!
