The following email was sent to me (siting Hubstaff as the source of my email address). Note that this scammer is trying to get control of my Facebook account and probably will try to get other personal info. Note the spelling error, personnels as well as other grammatical errors; dead give-away for scams.

Random comment left on a facebook group mentioned working for home and that the pay was over $40/hr after training, $27 during the 1-week training. I messaged her, asking for more information.

She messaged me back with a handful of details. Her name on FB: Heidi F. Blackstone in Seattle, WA
https://www.facebook.com/heidifuchsio

She directed me to the "hiring manager", who contacted me by text after I reached out first. Said his name was Matthew Strudel. 440-682-0716 Poor command of English, not business-like in any of our text or phone conversations. He told me about the equipment that would be sent to my home within a few days (computer, printer, laminator, etc). Then it was revealed that I need only pay $1000 for the required software to do the work.

When I responded that if it was a legitimate job the software would be provided, he said it was company policy and that I would be able to keep all the equipment when I no longer chose to work for them.
Said if I thought it was a ripoff then I should "go make enquiries".

I found an online job opportunity on Facebook through someone who told me to download an app called Signal private messenger and send them an interview code. A Christopher Lee Wolf told me the position then told me the interview is to take place via text messaging on the app. I was asking a bunch of questions and was told right away I got the job cuz I scored a 96% after the head dept reviewed the conversation.

Then was asked to provide information like my name, address, state, city, zip, cell number and email.

Then a pic of an ID.

Then was told that I would receive a free hp laptop and iPhone 13pro which is when I knew it was a scam.

They wanted my bank information which I did not give to them. But they wanted me to print out a check and mobile deposit it into my account within 24 hours. A lot of messages I received were grammatical incorrect and the letter that was sent to me was a definite red flag especially with how they typed the address. I played along but I’m about to call them out on their BS and shut it down. ??

Fb listing advertising employment. Great wages and benefit. Too good to b true? I passed the info onto a friend who was applying. They eventually were asking for personal info. We found on ScamPulse.com website that there is complaints.

Crystal Bennett of facebook was offering a work at home job to myself and a friend. https://www.facebook.com/crystal.bennett.733. I asked for more info and was told to get telegram and to place a ID into my telegram which I did. A lady named Elizabeth Meador started texting me in telegram to grab personal data off me and then wanted my drivers license. I kept asking if I could speak to someone at the company and she would text saying follow the rules or I wont get the job. I have all the screen shots of this conversation as well. I tried calling the company off their website and no one answers the calls and no one replies to the chat or a email because I tired all those ways. Elizabeth took the whole thread down in telegram after I wrote and said I saw the ScamPulse.com red alert. She was about to collect my ID and banking info because that part was next. I have the full thread of the conversation.

I was looking for employment opportunities on social media and found something that sounded promising. It was a job working from home with hubstaff. I let them know I was interested and had an interview via Skype. They told me I was hired and that they needed me to send pictures of the front and back of my license. They told me that in order for them to send me the equipment I would need for the job that I would need to buy an apple gift card for $20 and send them a picture of it. After doing so they asked for another one for $50. When I confronted them that I thought it was a scam they sent me a picture of their employee id and said that I would be compensated for the apple cards. I never received payment.

http://Hubstaff.com I went through internet interview and have been hired, I am afraid to provide my personal information.
