Saw the offer on Facebook and gave my credit card for payment of the Bissell vacuum. $49.95 I also received an email with the transaction price. However it was not from HSN but another name -- ? previous person named them. The charge is pending to my credit card and was told they will dispute it AFTER it has posted.

I receive an email from "service paypal.com" stating Confirmation: Your order receipt (Order no. 619241359) . I no longer have a paypal account for quite some time. The email stated that a Theresa Minnis had placed a home shopping network order for a dvd player worth $129.95. When I tried to cancel the order through the cancel option on the email, I could not open it on a desktop or notebook computer. I could access the cancel link through my phone though and it took me to what looked like the paypal website. When I entered my old paypal information it said I had limited access and neede to re verify all my information:address, DOB, Phone #, and SSN. I didn't go that far and continued to try and contact paypal or HSN. I finally got a hold of HSN customer service at 1.800.284.3900 and they said this was a scam.
