I applied to try ad for an academic Coach position through Indeed. I was invited for an interview at the WeWork space at 1115 Howell Mill Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. I interviewed with RaEssa Coleman and another lady on Monday July 24, 2023. I received a job offer via Indeed messenger on July 28, 2023. I did not receive my compensation letter offer until August 10th, that came from Monica Johnson (HR Director). I only received the letter after reaching out because I did not want to sign new hire paperwork without an offer. I returned my new hire paperwork and signed offer letter on August 10th. Which included my address, social security, bank information, etc. There was silence after that so I reached out again to RaEssa Coleman and Monica Johnson about a start date. On August 21st I received an email from Mike Graham that we would be getting an update that week about training schedule and start date. I then received and email from Shanice Bennett-Golden on August 29th that I am officially considered employed and that the orientation and training dates were September 11-14, 2023. The Friday before I was scheduled to start, September 8th, I received an email from RaEssa Coleman that due to the teacher shortage out training was being postponed. I have not been able to get in touch with anyone from the “company” since that email came out. I have sent emails, called and messaged RaEssa through LinkedIn. After submitting my paperwork I noticed a fraudulent charge from some unknown website on my bank account. I reported it as fraud and ended up having to get a new Debit Card because it tried to charge me more than once.

I am Mike Graham -President with TPT Leaders. Please accept my most sincere apology and promise to action surrounding the lapse in communication you experienced with your pending employment with TPT. I will be happy to discuss this experience with you in detail (my email contact is listed below). This lapse falls at my error in communication and timelines. The education realm is often unpredictable and difficult to forecast appropriate time measures. I will do everything in my power to assure that this narrative can never be repeated again. The instructional expert you mentioned (Ms. Coleman) should not have been attached to this as her passionate task is to prep our teachers to be as strategic and effective as possible daily in the classrooms. Ms Coleman is by far one of the top instructional experts in GA and the country. TPT remains blessed to have her on our team leading our educators! This will remain a full priority for me to assure that our daily best practices are more efficient and productive. I look forward to discussing this in detail at your earliest.
