I had applied for a CSR position through Indeed. I thought I had done my research to see if this was a legit job but I just found out about this job from Reddit. It lists as a Cambodian company working as tax accountants for Cambodian customers that live in the US. I received the job offer by email, then I did a Teams meeting where there were about 22 other people on the same on boarding call. I then received an email stating that I had been chosen for the Team Lead position at $35.00 an hour. Although there is an official looking website, it is fake as can be! They just sent me a fillable form for I9 and W4. On the I9 form at the bottom, it was only fillable for a signature for the EMPLOYER, and not the employee. That is when I started to look even further into this company and finally found 44 responses on Reddit that listed it as a scam.
