I applied for a job on Indeed for Data Entry/CSR with Fort Point Capital. I received an interview to be set up through the phone app Signal (which is a highly encrypted and protected app). The interviewer introduced himself as Paul Lipson. After going through a text interview, I was "hired" and asked to send my information. I sent it to the email only after noticing that the email was for a website that does not exist, not the website for the real company. When inquiring about this, "Paul" called me and, with a noticeable African accent, assured me that doing a video call was against company policy. Because his accent did not match his picture online, I realized the danger I was in. When I insisted, he told me to decline the position and hung up.
