I applied for an "Executive Assistant" position on ZipRecruiter. It was based in France. A man who claimed to be "Damien" called me from HR for an interview. Asked me interview questions, made it seem real. It was only a 10 minute phone call and the next day I was offered a job. He sent me an offer letter, explained everything in specific detail and in perfect English. I asked for a website and he provided one. After I signed the offer letter, I got emailed by another man going by the name of "Fabrice Bouchard" who claimed to be head of US Operations. He said we would do tax forms when he got to the US and gave me my first "tasks" of the job almost immediately. When I would ask questions he would get very defensive. Everything seemed extremely suspicious. The pay was $77,000 a year. He sent me photos of "his" family... the list goes on. Be careful!
