I was contacted by Katherine Williams about a job in Data Entry for Guardian Probiotics. I sent over information like my resume and completed some additional forms. They had me fill out the information about myself and even set up a company account on their "website" and was told to set up an account on a messaging app called Telegram. I was sent a contract to sign. Once all that was set up, the message I sent disappeared after 2 days, and all existence of this Katherine person was gone. This person was very informative about the job, the forms they went over seemed official, and they were quick to respond.

I was sent a text message regarding a remote data entry job that was paying $27/hr, I found it a little strange bc I had no record of applying with this company but the pay was exactly what I was looking for so I went through with the sending Kathrine Willams who was claiming to be their HR person my resume. After my resume was sent over I received an email sating that they thought I was a good fit and they would like me to do an interview, The interview wasn’t really out of the ordinary it was online there was a mix of short answer question and times multiple choice questions. The next part sent off little red flags, they also sent me a google form this asked for basic info like my name and phone number but then their was a question asking what bank I used, I thought it was strange but they claimed it was for payroll and they didn’t ask any actual bank information. The following monday I was sent an offer letter for the job but I was still kinda on alert because as i said earlier I didn’t apply for this job and I still had never talked to an actual person, not even a phone call to offer the position (which was sent via text). I checked my email as directed for the offer letter and noticed the name Glenn Dasher signed at the bottom. When I looked up his name with the companies name I found a few people saying that had been scammed the same way, with similar sounding companies and employees with similar names.

Got a text message from someone claiming to be from Katherine of Guardian Probiotics Inc. Did a quick Google search and this information was the top result. Guess that means it's a job offer scam!
