Started with a text from Maria Bell, stating job for work from home, got my info from indeed. Advised to have interview via Telegram app. Told to contact Valerie Perry 575-208-6702 on telegram app. Valerie went over job and did interview over text. Then said I was hired. Then told me to contact Tammy Skinner via the telegram app. She then walked me through the process. I was sent a cashiers check (from prosperity bank) to do mobile deposit, after mobile deposit was confirmed. I was instructed to Zelle money to “vendors” who would be purchasing equipment for me for the position. Zelle was successful to the two different people. Then I was advised the amount wasn’t enough to cover equipment and then was sent two more checks to mobile deposit. Those are sitting in my account waiting to drop off. I advised this people through the telegram app that I believed this was fraud after investigating. The first contact Valerie immediately erased all conversation. Tammy keep on about how they were not a scam and that I had company funds in my possession. I explained that I was not going to Zelle anything more and I have contacted fraud department. She immediately erased all conversations. I have the thread of conversation’s between these people and also the “rep” who emailed Emily Costa. caution Scam don’t fall for it
