I applied to a wellness coach position on indeed for Rapid Nexus. I received an email from Greg Grant, COO, of Medici with opportunity to interview for the the position. I was informed he received my information via an ATS system. I downloaded the required app, Wire, to conduct the interview with Eliz Barriga. Her linkedin profile name is Elizabeth Barriga. I conducted the interview and received an offer letter. The offer letter terms of employment stated that 55 an hour in training and 60 an hour after training. I accepted the position. I was directed to connect with my new team lead, Chris Tucker. Chris Tucker provided me with a list of items that needed to be purchased to conduct the role as a wellness coach. He sent me a check via the wire chat with the required funding to purchase the items. I contacted my bank via chat and we verified that the routing number on the check is valid, However my bank advised to not deposit a check that was received via email or chat. I reported this bank to my team lead and Elizabeth. I received a message from Elizabeth that her team lead stated I didn't follow instructions and she sent me the same instructions. My lead team did not respond to my message in regards to their HR or financial department deposit the funding on their end. I received no response. The only information I provided was my name, bank information, address, and pictures of my ID.

We are pleased to confirm your appointment for the Remote Virtual Health and Wellness Coach with Medici.

Based on your level of experience and how well you answered the interview questions. Any changes in the term

position will be implemented with written notice to you in accordance with the company’s management. You will

be imparted training on the job and periodically when the training programs will be organized; the company lays

high importance when training its employees and spends considerable resources on it. Full commitment from you

is expected during the training period.

Training is necessary to enable you to get specific tasks done using the software programs pre-installed on your

MacBook by our IT/vendors. Your on-boarding will be done remotely with instructions from your interview

manager.

The company may terminate suspend your services at its discretion at any time immediately upon written notice

to you if it has been alleged and prima facie established through preliminary internal inquiry that you have

committed.

D JOB DETAILS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a Full-time remote job position – 40hrs/week,The pay is $60/hour after training and $55/hour during

training, You would be paid weekly via your registered bank account; you pay would be calculated via the

Time Lynx (Time Billing Software) installed in your work devices by our vendors. Your assigned supervisor

will endorse your training clearance which will be given to you at the end of your training, This indicates

you are done with your Training, and you will receive full employment compensation of $60/hour.

Responsibilities:

You will be fully supported by our online platform,which includes a detailed curriculum and technology to

help track participants progress. You will leverage this cutting-edge platform to strategically coach

participants through our programs, using data science to outreach methods during moments that matters.

Your primary responsibilities will include communicating one-on-one with participants through our

platforms and facilitating conversation through our online forums.

I received a job offer as a wellness coach for Medici, offering $60/hour after training. They sent me hiring forms to fill out, I have given them all my information to accept the job offer. Then they sent me a check to go buy the equipment, through their selected vendors, the check is still pending in my bank, I noticed the check does not have a legit Bank of America logo on it, it looks like they just typed “Bank of America”. They then got upset with me when I told them the check is still waiting to process, they asked me to use my funds to pay for the equipment. I said no. And have reported this with my bank and local police.
