I was contacted via email for an interview from Mark Scholes, supposedly a talent aquasition specialist representing himself as an employee for Denison Pharmaceuticals. So I was asked to Skype or telegram to the interviewer David R****. I accepted and went through with the interview. Within an hour after the interview I was given the job offer of an online data entry work from home position. I accepted the “job offer”, and completed the job acceptance offer forms that they sent with a phony Denison Pharmaceuticals employment offer forms and documents. Then, they sent a fake check that had a return address that was sent from an electronic store in Brooklyn New York not Denison Pharmaceuticals and the letter that came with the check was not on any company letterhead and told me to deposit it into my bank account and to let them know when the bank releases those funds so that I can go through their “accredited vendors” for the work equipment and training items that they listed on the Skype interview. I instantly knew when they began pushing for me to discuss payment to their “accredited vendors” that it was a scam and that they were not employees and who knows if they are even those people who they are posing as. I contacted Denison pharmaceuticals and they said that this is a scam that they have heard of before and they thanked me for reporting it. They said they do not have any jobs like that in their company. The names that contacted me were: Mark S******, Brandon K***** Billy N***** and David R***** Please be cautious. I have officially made reports to agencies that this is what occurred and that they are on high alert with this scam. Hope you can avoid this situation and not be scammed like I was.
