I was texted about being a match for a job posting and sent to a meeting on Microsoft Teams. Within 1 day I was told that I got the job and just needed to deposit a check from the company in order to contact the vendor they used and buy the items that I would need for training. I began researching the situation at that point and messaged CitrusAd directly from the website, along with asking the scammer to do a video call to confirm their identity against LinkedIn (which I only considered viable due to the age of the LinkedIn account).
