I received an email from “Bluenotes Canada” from the HR coordinator named Amanda Last saying I had been selected for an interview after I applied on LinkedIn for the job. After going through the video interview process, I received an offer letter stating I got the job. So I provided them with my name, address and a scanned copy of my Paystub for my proof of address as per request. After downloading the communication application I needed, they told me I had to send an email to place an order for the equipment, which I did. The equipment company (not sure if real) send an invoice in 30 minutes for over $3000 in my name. Which Bluenotes then sent an electronic cheque to deposit into my bank account so I could purchase the equipment myself. I did not follow through at this point since I realized it was a scam by seeing a Reddit post. They were asking for my direct deposit information.
