I was approached about a job opportunity at Compas Group.for Data Entry Admistative Assistant and was told to download Microsoft team's app and contact him using code CPAS-894 to continue with the interview then I was sent email regarding paperwork to fill our for employment including a W2 form and letter of acceptance of employment wherr iwas told that I would bre making $30 hour and receive 2 weeks of paid training plus I would receive a check via mail.to pay for software and equipment that I would need and I was to keep $150 of it as a sign on bonus. He also requested that I send him a direct deposit form from my bank which i did as well a filled out the W2 form. I got suspicious of the positon that I was offered when he kept me online for all day long for rwo to three and half days with long delays between chats so I asked him if it was a scam and he said no but when I tried toemail him a copy of the direct deposit form to the email.listed on the Microsoft Team's account and he didn't receive it I became very suspbut by then I had already sent him the W2 form and direct deposit form through the app attachment. So I investigated it a little further and realized it was a scqm and reported it to the IRS and FCC. Now I am reporting it to the BBB.
