At the beginning of May 2023 my Victoria BC neighbours and I wanted to rebuild our joint fence. One of my neighbours searched Home Depot to get some contractor names. Out of three possible contractors, my neigbour insisted on Patrick from Premium West Construction Inc. phone: 778-861-1462 as his estimate was the lowest at about $10,000. We later discovered that the phone number is from New Westminster. The neighbour who contacted Patrick, other than by phone, has always communicated through Messenger, not email. Only saw the contractor once to give an estimate for the fence construction. He only gave his name as Patrick (no last name). He sent us an invoice requesting immediate payment of $3126.89 for a deposit to purchase fence materials, which my neighbours and I paid in early May by bank transfer. Since then he has either given excuses why he cannot work on the fence, or he just has not shown up after stating that he would. His website gives a Victoria address with a New Westminster phone number. Tried uploading a file, but it froze this website.
