I was called in my hotel room at the Dimond Hotel at 10:15 pm on November 5, 2021. The caller stated he was the hotel manager and that my credit card information had not gone through at check-in. He offered a 20% discount for the inconvenience of calling me in the evening ( I was asleep and the call woke me up). He asked for my credit card number, expiration date and my 3 digit code. He also asked me to verify the spelling of my last name and asked for the zip code. I went down to the front desk to verify they had called. They stated they had not and apparently I was not the only patron that had recieved a call. I notified my bank and the charge was declined. According to my records he charged $250.00 on my account and it is under the name of Joseph Washing and purchase was a transfer to Visa cash app in California with the zip of 94103.
