I searched Holiday Inn Express, Berea, KY on Google and got this number (877-346-1992) on Friday, 9/17/21 at about 9:00 a.m.. Called and sounded legitimate - answered saying "thank you for calling our reservations department, for new reservations press 1, for questions about a reservation press 2, for hotel rates & availability press 3. I pressed 1 then a man answered. I wanted to make a reservation at Holiday Inn Express, Berea for 1 night on 9/18/21 and man taking my call said they had a room for $170.84 and he took my credit card number. About 2 hours later at about 11:00 my bank (PBC) called me and asked about me authorizing two (2) charges on my credit card. One was for the one in Berea (which turned out to not be the Holiday Inn Express I thought I was booking for in Berea) and the other charge on my card was for a Hotel 6 in Florida for about $200.00 which I absolutely did not make. Of course my bank cancelled my card immediately and I cancelled the reservation they sent me in an e-mail which I thought was the one in Berea.
