The radio station had a contest with an everyday winning word for $1,000. I've participated for almost 3 wks texting the word of the day. They sent confirmations, but never have posted or announced winners. The words were all regular type words but today however 10/10/17, the word was Stop. Now, I as well as many others didn't think of how texting (Stop) would remove your texting or recieving message privilage from this radio station totally! I consider this misleading and false advertisement. I've won tickets from them in the past, when it was a call in contest. But this is definitely a scam contest, that midleads the listeners! Texting stop, was the quencher, how ingenious and cunningly deceptive! I know we choose to listen, and I did regardless. But if a company advertises they're giving away $1,000 4 times a day, it makes you listen more. Plus I've had no reason to think it being deceptive until I saw no names on website or facebook page. And today was downright hurtful, and degrading for being a supporter of a station franchised and supported by people like me, so many years!
