The scammer said I was offered a job position did an online interview through Microsoft teams and once I was selected they scammers sent over the offer letter to sign and send id . I wasn't aware that I was being scammed until they asked for mobile banking limit. Thats when I was concerned and I asked a question of where they were located and they told me I need not to worry about that so after that I went back online and kept looking for the names that was given to me and I couldn't find their names on the website nor on LinkedIn and the job description on the actual website wasn't listed. The fact that they used the official website made it seem legit. So I went back on my email and looked back at the email address that sent one the offer letter it was [email protected] and once I put it in google it stated that it was a scam and I read other peoples involvement with the scammers and the same story stating that the would send me a company check but they weren't able to send a company check but they could use the mobile banking and that's when I knew something was fishy.
