Craiglist advertising for a van driver. $20 an hour Mon through Friday 8 hours a day. Person explains they are out of town at the moment, but their mother lives here in the area. They own a business and need a person to drive a van for pick up donations and such.. So they send you a check in advance,, like $4,986.00 -- you are paid up front for one week $800. for your first week, and then you are to take the money after you get a receipt that you indeed received the money and/or transfer it to another individual, who is going to get your van and supplies set up.. As soon as you deposit the check, you are to email and let them know.. and then wait until the bank okays the check.. So glad to see that someone else fell for this, and therefore, allowed us to not proceed. Thank you.
