Responded to an add for Bichon Frise Female puppy named Macy. After contacting the seller I was asked to pay a $400 deposit that was supposed to be refundable. May I add that I live in Northern Colorado and the puppy was in Balboa CA. The seller was communicating with me through Whatsapp. I believed this to be honest. I paid the $400 through Zelle and packed for the long drive to pick up the puppy. The seller gave me the address and communicated with me the whole drive to Balboa. When we arrived at the address the people that answered had no idea what we were talking about advising us to go to the police.
I cannot describe the disappointment and crushed heart after being taken advantage of in this manner.

I got my aussie puppy from a breeder with this ads company because I had so many testimony from friends. At first I was skeptical about the entire process but I'm happy I was favoured and I got what I wanted. Through out the process , Home Land Puppies followed up the process between the owner of the puppy and I . I feel so accomplished and satisfied.

Do not trust anyone from this scam. Read the reviews online, I’m so glad I did. Shame on anyone trying to scam anyone using puppies.
I’ve been looking for a puppy for a year now, and I’ve contacted sites like this that seem legit only to find scam reports online and get weird texts like these. Do your research people. These sad scams are on the rise more than ever during the pandemic.

Please please do not use this site!

We lost our dog and wanted to get a new puppy. We went onto homeland puppies only for them to connect us w a breeder.

We got pictures, videos, FaceTime with the dog only, said we needed to pay in full to get the papers. Zelled money .. drove 4 hours to pick up the dog w our 4 year old daughter... well there was no dog and that women didn’t exist.

Homeland puppies is a fraud!
I sent an email of interest for 4 different puppies on the website, each a different breed. I received an email & text from Homeland Puppies with the contact # for each of the breeders. Each phone # was different but the breeders name was the same: Randson Balmain. He contacted me initially via text and we later spoke over the phone per my request. He said he lives in San Diego. He claimed the puppy I was interested in was the last puppy available - all other puppies in the litter had been sold. I requested a copy of the puppies vet papers for the puppy I was interested in and a zoom or FaceTime call so I could see the puppy. He never sent the papers or set up the call. Please be careful, he is a fraud!

Homeland Puppies is a fraud. I placed an application for 4 different dogs, 4 different breeds. I received an email and text message regarding each dog with 4 different phone #’s for each of the breeders however, the breeders name was the same for each dog: Randson Balmain.
I did speak with him over the phone (per my request). He said he lived in San Diego. I asked for the puppies vet records and requested a zoom or FaceTime call so I could see the puppy. He never did either. He is a fraud!

I was doing research for purchasing a cavapoo or goldendoodle and this site had so many red flags. I don't know where to begin. I live in Maryland but the phone number is in San Francisco which is a little suspicious. Also, I laughed outloud thinking about a 6-7 lb father getting a 45-50 lb momma pregnant. It is not registered and I would think that at this price, it should be. The other thing is it lists it as an f1 Standard Goldendoodle then mentions below that it is an miniature f2. Big difference! And almost not possible with a mom that size.

We were excited to find this site selling dogs that we very reasonably priced and actually available, where most places have a long waiting list. We emailed, received an email response with the breeder's name and phone number. We then received a text from the breeder directly to "qualify us" in order to reserve the dog. When I called the number it was a Google Voice number. The person wrote poor English and at first asked questions. When I asked questions in return they were short responses, mostly about logistics. When I asked about the dog's personalities, and to possibly do a video call to meet them, I received a sudden angry message. I was told that I needed to pay a 60% deposit up front, and could then arrange for delivery costing only $200 for hand delivery through a service. I was told that once I made the deposit, he would then contact me for all my personal information in order to fill in the pet registration forms. I started to get suspicious at that point, so I checked the website more and it said in business for 10 years, but the domain was bought in April 2020. I then checked the social media links but they were all broken and then could not find the business by searching on any of the social media platforms. I then searched the pet scam website and found many other sites called HomeLand... that were also fraudulent. I then went to the dog that I had picked out where multiple photos of it had been posted, I copied and loaded the photos into Google Image search, and low and behold, the same images of the same dog had already been sold on another website, but with a different name, weight information, and from a date that had the age being way older then that same piuppie could be now. The seller, later sent me payment options, which included ApplePay and Bitcoin. When I asked for a video, he said I could drive to meet the dog, but he couldn't guarantee it would still be available. When I said ok, he then insulted me a bunch and the conversation eventually ended after my only option was to send the money. It makes me angry that there are people like this scamming people for thousands of dollars and taking their personal information, posing too be breeders, getting people's hopes up, only to bring them through an ordeal. I hope this helps you prevent this from happening to other people.
