I have a mortgage with CHASE for many years and it has been a positive relationship. I recently received a bogus document from Home Warranty Direct/Home Warranty Division. It is deceptive being delivered like it is from a government and/or reputable company and alarmist (FINAL NOTICE in bold and response date) – like you are about to be in trouble financially with your home. The notice had no return mailing address, just a phone number and some fake check-like fee voucher. It also states that this warranty was purchased by JP Morgan Chase Bank – when I called CHASE the other day to inquire, I assumed the CHASE rep I spoke with would have informed me about this, he did not.
I have enough to deal with in everyday life and getting sent fake documents that can affect me financially is distressing. Contact me if you have any questions.
