We received a $25 gift card that appeared to be from Lowe’s home improvement. There was no other identifying information on it. The back of the card says “scan to redeem”. When we took it to Lowe’s to redeem, it would not redeem. Rather it required us to scan it onto our phone then answer several personal questions. It then said a representative would contact us. The cashier said she did nothing know how to redeem it but did now it needed scanning… suggesting she had seen this scam before.

I then received an email saying a representative would call me. Although I unsubscribed from this website, 3 days later a lady named “Stephanie” called me. She said many people think the postcard is a $25 gift card.. alluding to the fact it is not. I told her I was going to report them to the ScamPulse.com and hung up.
