I filled out a request for information about a sheepadoodle puppy on their website. I started receiving both texts and emails about the puppy asking for information about my home. I did not give any addresses or pertinent information to them. The guys name was "Hector Feller". He said he was located in San Diego. He was extremely pushy and insistent about money being sent "today". He refused my phone calls and would only text or email. He sent Zelle instructions asking that the total amount ($1530.00) be split into two transactions, the first be $1000 and the second being the remainder. He wanted screen shots of both transactions. The Zelle account I was to send it to was for Caleb Bankhead and the phone number associated with the Zelle account was 6628898054. After so many red flags, I told him I would send it tomorrow. Last evening, I spent time researching his website and Googled all of the information that was on there, including his wife's name and the alleged animal hospital she worked at. The Arlington Animal Hospital is in Arlington, VA and one other city. He said they live in San Diego and have lived there all of his life. They also stated that he was a horse trainer for many years. Nothing on that either although there is a woman by the last name of Feller who does train horses. None of the references added up either. Eventually I found them on a pet scammer website with different pictures of the owners but still the same website.
