I paid $500 to purchase a teacup yorkie puppy from a woman who states she lived in OK on 3/31/18. The puppy was to be shipped to me on Tuesday, April 3rd and I'm still waiting to receive this puppy. In the meantime, I have been contacted by a company named Home Pet Carrier Delivery Service Ltd whom states they are also located in OK and they will be handling the delivery of my puppy to me. It has been a complete nightmare since the first email and phone call. Let me start by stating that the company contact information is nowhere to be found on their website and they will not provide an address to you when asked for it. The phone number I received calls from comes across on my cell phone as a CA number and always seemed to belong to Jeff Hernandez at the shipping/delivery agency. He works in Customer Service there as I've been told. The first day they told me that my puppy did could not be sent because there apparently was a new guideline that had just gone into effect for puppies under 20 weeks requiring them to have insurance boarding any airline flights. Therefore I had to pay $1500 before they could get my puppy on a flight to me. 98% of this would be refunded back to me when I received my puppy at the final destination. Then the next day it was they cannot send her now because she now needs to have an electronically temperature controlled crate because of the cold weather temps here in my state. This will cost $1100 but it is also fully refundable upon the arrival of my puppy. Another day with my puppy on a flight. The next day it was vaccines because now they claim she got sick under their care. So now I owe them $1000 for these. Ironically these would be refundable as well. Not sure how that can be but for some silly reason I fell for this too. Guess my emotions for this poor puppy were really high at this point. I was able to negotiate with them and only pay $800 instead of the full $1000 for the vaccines however I'm now out $3400 to this shipping/delivery agency between cash Western Union and prepaid Walmart gift card transactions and again this money would be fully refundable upon the delivery of my puppy in CASH. I also wrote up a guarantee agreement with I had them sign with this information thinking I was doing the right thing. I also have receipts for the $1500 and $1100 transactions signed by them too. The last payment on Friday, April 6th was when they stated they still could not send my puppy because they now needed to get a city permit before she could enter my local airport. Ridiculous....... They wanted $1600 for this permit which I told them they were crazy. The sender negotiated with this agency and got them to lower the amount to $1100 however I told her the only amount of money I had left to my name was $150 in cash. She then agreed to come up with the remaining $950 to release my puppy before she went into quarantine to get her on a flight to me Friday. It was not until Saturday late in the day that I was notified by my sender that she never paid her portion and now my puppy is sitting in quarantine. The shipping/delivery agency has ceased all communication which confirms my suspicions that this has been a scam. I'm sick to my stomach over the fact that I fell for this because I really am smarter than this. I'm just a very trustworthy, caring person! I'm not out $4050 total between the sender and shipping/delivery agency for the sake of wanting to get another puppy to replace my sweet little princess that I had to put to sleep in early January. So Sad!!! :( Please do what you can to help me get my money back. I have all emails, text messages and signed receipts/guarantees for investigation.
