Man arrived, complained he had to take the shield off to fix it, as if we were supposed to have it apart. Then told my dad that it wouldn’t start, needed carborator flushed, would be $100 more. Dad said ok, so $290 total. When job done stated we needed to pay $324. Person didn’t know I was home, thought he was dealing with my elderly dad for payment, I explained we already paid 100 for deposit so we would owe $234. Disagreement ensued, claims that the $100 ways for service call not deposit. No where on the messages or phone call recording that he sent me does it say there is a service call charge. Also on website, does not say this . This was a scam and intimidating an old man. I paid him because he wouldn’t leave my property if I didn’t . I have left message with Hamilton police. He sent me an invoice as I requested with his above address in Toronto
