I bought a phone that they claimed was brand new. They even made it look new. They put plastic protector on it, put it in a new box with a new charger, and manual, etc. When I turned the phone on it still had someone else's information in it! All her contacts, pictures, etc. It was even still signed into her Facebook & email.

I emailed her to see if it was a stolen phone and explained the situation. She said she had bought it from the same store who also told her it was a new phone and it stopped working 2 days later so she exchanged.

So essentially, this business scams people. They sold me a used phone (claiming it was new) that was already returned due to having issues. Clearly I am not the first person they have done this to either.
