I was given a number by someone I know to qualify for a grant. Once I gave information I was told I qualified for a 95,000.00 grant but needed to pay $400.00 as a delivery fee and when would I make that payment. That’s when I realized it was a scam. Please watch out for these people.

I received a Facebook message from an old friend of mine stating that I could receive 10,000.00 of financial assistance from the government which he received. I knew this was a scam immediately because the man who “they” used first is too proud to take a hand out and secondly he doesn’t need it. It’s so sad that people do this!

I received a Facebook message from a class-mate name Alma Foster asking me if I heard about free grant money give away. She told me that I could easily qualify and gave me a number to call to get it started. The name of the organization is call Home Care Family Grant Support. She gave me a number to text them to let them no I was interested. 501--291-0537. After they ask you a your name, martial status, if you rent or own and how many kids you have they immediately say you qualify for the grant. They gave me an amount of 85,000 and ask how soon do I need the funds. I immediately knew it was a scam because I gave them false information. They told me I need to send them 550.00 for the processing of the paperwork and they will have the money hand delivery to me. I told them to deduct the 550.00 from the grant. They said they couldn't do that and I was going to received cash from some delivery guy. They kept insisting that the money had to be sent by Western Union. I continue to play along with it because I wanted to get as much information as possible to report it.
