Home Alarm System sent a text regarding the alarm system of my home and had matching information so I believe the company had sold the information to them. It was until learning the the company that I was with sent out an email about scams. That is important information that should have been mailed out to customers but it is truly a lesson to me that in the technology world it will be less paper and we are very vulnerable for fraud and scams to happen even it an email it could be still a fraud or scam.

A man called and asked if I could hear him and I said, "yes." Then he began talking about an alarm system for my home. When I tried to interrupt the caller to request to be removed off the list, I realized that it was a recording, so I hung up. Shortly after that, I saw online that this has been a common scam happening.
