I wanted to buy an Australian Shepherd Puppy and found this website https://holyranchaussie.farm. I inquired for the puppy named ROY through the website and instantly I got an email ([email protected]) and a text message (239-230-6674) from the scammer who used the name as Bryan Thruman. He only communicated with me via an email and text. He sent me the pictures and videos of the puppy and everything seemed genuine. He asked me to pay $800 + $275 (shipping) and provided the payment options as below:

Zelle: [email protected] (Zelle Name: Bryan Thruman)

CashApp: $tanyakelso00 (CashApp Name: Tanya Kelso)

Venmo: @YasminOrihuela (Venmo Name: Yasmin Lopez, Last 4 digit: 9700)

I tried making payment through Zelle and CashApp but my US Bank rejected that payment (Thank you US Bank for your excellent fraud detection judgement). But I was naive and tried the payment through my Discover Credit Card via Venmo and it was successful. The scammer sent me a shady "Bill of Sales" document with a lot of colors and spelling mistakes. This should have given it away, but I was overpowered with my emotions and love for the puppy that I couldn't detect that it was a scam.

The next day, scammer said he has shipped my puppy from Florida and I should get a mail from the shipping service company. I did. It was a scam too. They mailed me from address ([email protected]) and a person called me with his name as (Mr. Gonzales Ways). The mail said I should pay extra $2200+$910 for a temperature controlled crate and a vaccine that my pup needs because of the weather change. The person called me using a Google Voice number - 312-646-4610. He gave me below payment details:

Zelle: [email protected] (Zelle Name: Stevie Richardson)

Scamming shipping website: https://easyshippersworldwide.com

I called it out as a scam and both the breeder and the shipper stopped responding to me immediately. I have filed a police report against them already.

Please beware of these scammers, they are very professional in what they do. And play with our emotions towards the pet to exploit us.

I responded to available Aussie puppy website. Immediately received response from seller. Photos looked too professional Photos were identical to those on Ricki Marie Aussie website. Seller overly eager to ship puppy. When I asked for vet info the response was no. When I asked for the litter number that was registered with the AKC it was a no. Still have same puppies for sale 2 months after I inquired
