My boyfriend and I had thought we did our research thoroughly enough but unfortunately we've been scammed. A few weeks ago we contacted the "breeder", who guys by the name of Terry (last name unsure of), about a puppy from his website holcanecorso.com. After exchanging countless emails we decided to follow through and purchase the puppy. We were told $900 gets us not only the puppy, but the shots/vaccines, toys, crate, a few weeks of food, cropped ears, and all transportation services. We were sent the Bill of Sale (which was signed by the breeder) before we even sent the money. After the money was sent via Western Union, were guaranteed the delivery of the puppy within 12 hours and his "wife" would send the tracking information. She never communicated with either of us. We tried multiple times to contact him and got nothing until he finally replied it would take longer to send because of his cropped ears. He never expressed it would take longer than promised. He told us the puppy would be shipped the next morning, Monday the 23rd. After no communication from him, we tried calling emailing and texting him. He didn't respond for a few hours after we asked for our money back. We then got an email from another transportation service address known as "Bolden pet transportation" at Boldenpetair.com, Which said we would have to pay another $1500 to have the puppy insured which would be refundable upon the delivery of the puppy. Again they requested the money be sent via Western Union. We were not comfortable sending them anymore money and also contacted the "breeder " who then said he would discuss it with his "wife" and contact us within ten minutes. He never did. So after multiple attempts to contact him again, he then blocked my boyfriends phone and was no longer excepting my phone calls either. We decided we would pick up the puppy from the transportation service ourselves. We call them again to see if we could meet them somewhere or their physical address to pick up the puppy ourselves. The transportation service person we spoke with who went by the name of Michael, recommended we go to the website bordenpetair.com and search the location. We had tried to do so but got an error message. We informed him of the error and he hung up on us. We tried from my boyfriends number and he hung up again. Now neither of them will respond. After an attempt to call him anonymously he told us Bolden transportation services would no longer be accepting our phones calls because he, the "breeder" told him not to. After doing further research ourselves we discovered others had been deceived by his website. The actual breeder of the puppies had made it aware via Facebook that the website, holcanecorso.com was a scam and to be aware. After this discovery and refusing to pay the "insurance" for the puppy to be delivered we made the fake breeder aware we would like our money back and would involve the authorities. His response, "Do what you want." We called the local animal shelter near the area of the address we were given by him to perform a wellness check and ensure if he does have puppies they are being not being treated cruelly. Within a matter of ours we received a phone call stating the animal services did the check given the address provided and the owner there owned only one cat. No puppies were reported there nor the "breeder", "Terry." He uses the same script for any who inquires about a puppy. To use the contact forum on the website and email him so his "wife" can send the information (which we believe was him the whole time). We asked friends to make a fake attempt in purchasing a puppy. He told them the same thing. When they asked him to pick up the puppy face to face he would disregard their question and would never provide a physical address. We not only want our money back from them, for the dog we did not receive and have a bill of sale for, but we're also concerned for the dogs well-being, if they have any dogs at all, as he said his wife would be the one performing the cropping of their ears. We just also don't want this to happen to anyone else.
