I just placed my order today. I had been hearing about the products on Facebook but never ordered until I heard about it from my mother who heard about it from a coworker. She has great results so I decided to order for myself and my mom

Now I don’t want to be a negative reviewer but when I first received the product I was so excited to get started but I’m a week and a half in and my scalp started getting really irritated. I thought it was probably dandruff patches but the more I used the oil the more of these dry itchy patches popped on my scalp so I’m done using it but it worked for my sister’s hair... in conclusion what works for some might not work for all!

I have had no problems as far as receiving order and communications, but the product does not work. I tried the hair serum growth product (regular) first and it did not grow my hair but it did leave it very soft so I decided to try the extra strength which still has not grown my hair and it has a terrible medicine smell. I will not buy the product again.

I ordered the Hair Growth Serum and it came earlier than expected. I am a cancer survivor and I noticed my crown getting thicker. I ordered the extra strength and it came in 3 days. I am excited to see the improvement in the thickness. To Be Continued..

Stay away if you don’t want an irritated scalp and less hair than what you started off with.

Ordered mine July 24 and received it July 31. No scam to me. So far so good. Did a patch test and I’m without complaints. Let’s see what this does to grow my hair. Will be back to give results in the near future. Hold tight. This is a legit comment. Thanks. ??

I have had terrible ,unreal headaches every since I tried this product ,this is not a good product and it's painful ,no hair growth whatsoever,this product is terrible ,and I wish I could get my money back

I’ve had dry itchy patches pop up since using but I just decided the product wasn’t for me

Oh gosh... I just placed an order without checking here first. How disappointing to see all the comments. My hair cannot take protein - it will break. The problem is we all want fuller, thicker hair and so will fall for this...
I ordered two bottles..and will now have to accept I've wasted my money.. if the product even arrives. We'll see.

Please refine your processes at HHB. Proudly, there has been a significant increase in Minority owned businesses. With that, merchants are responsible for consistent delivery to maintain loyal consumer patronage. It is so pertinent to fulfill your mantra & faithfully back it up.

Like many whom commented, I was also enticed at trying this product. However, upon further due diligence the quality of the site as well as the feedback were questionable. I’m fortunate that I have technical insight being married to a cyber engineer. Nonetheless, it’s more important to research ANY product you may invest in.. especially when it pertains to health, regardless of the color of ownership. Know origin, be aware of inconsistencies & empower yourself with knowledge. Unfortunately, I’ve decided not to support this business although it may be a good fit for others. However, as constructive (not negative) feedback I would recommend more focus on quality assurance & customer support. It’s also unsettling to see one person -Proverbs31- continually defending the product without substance which appears quite suspect. Utilize that energy to encourage the business to improve practices instead of lashing out at those who’s opinions differ from yours.

Their website was not professional enough? They did not list the orgins of their products? Do not bring God into your personal stance. SMH

I WISH I HAD DONE MY DUE DILIGENCE ON THIS PRODUCT. IM DISAPPOINTED THAT THE COMPANY CHOOSES TO BE YET ANOTHER GIMMICK EXPLOITING BLACK PEOPLE. TOO BAD!

I use it. It works for me. I’m on my 2nd order. I plan to continue buying. My hair hasn’t grown this much and this fast in forever or never

company does not respond to a single email. Always an automated response. Order product a month ago. Still not have product. Also tried contacting on IG. See that they comment on their own posts but no answer my messages. Horrible scamming company

I have been waiting 2 months with no response to my emails or comments on IG

They sent me a text message within an hour, after I left items in my cart. Offering me a discount. I obliged and made the purchase. To me that was great customer service.

Wow, I wonder what went wrong. I hate seeing all of these bad reviews...I ordered and received my product in less than a week. I also received constant communication throughout the entire transaction. I’m very excited to begin my journey with the product!

I just got mine today i paid for Express shipping got it on time I just put in in my hair I will do a update later but the custom service part went great for me

This is the first time I have ever had to do this with a company and its unfortunate that the first time I have to do this it's with a black owned business but bad business is bad business whether you are black white purple or green...by the looks of the other complaints I've read they are all similar place an order do not receive product request a refund do not receive refund and also get some bogus excuses...I ordered 1 bottle on 6/17/20 it came down to $29 and some change because they added 0.98 shipping insurance supposedly as of 7/26/20 I still have NOT received my product even though I got a confirmation email with an order # on 6/17/20 and I received another email on 6/22/20 saying my product was shipped with a so called tracking number when I track it it says the same thing "order processed ready for UPS" whatever that means I contacted via email and was told that the carrier must have lost it this was after I had already waited a whole month for my product I still have not received anything no product no refund and it is 7/26/20. I feel like it is a scam. Why send an email with shipping confirmation and a bogus tracking number. That is bad business period. And as far as the no refund no exchange policy any company that is honest and delivers wouldn't need any such policy period..that policy is put in place to intentionally be able to get away with stealing people's hard earned money whether its $30 order or $300 order if someone supports your business and spends their money with you then you should deliver these no excuse for that period. I understand covid 19 is effecting shipping in some places HOWEVER those companies have been very diligent in notifying of such I have done business with multiple online merchants during this time black owned, white owned, and independent as well and THIS is the ONLY company I have had this issue with. I ordered hair serum from another company and I have had 2 shipments within 2 weeks with no problem and no bs. DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY TO THIS COMPANY.

I ordered 06/10/20 and I have experienced the exact same thing with emails and tracking. Do not order from this company!

My order came in a timely manner..I already have a nice length of hair just want longer...I use it every other day and so far no evil damage is done ??‍♀️ my hair is moisturized well! I did measurements and will measure every two weeks...so far so good! What works for some may not work for others! And I like it bc Lord knows I have black folks hair lol my hair is thick and long but super dry religiously! And this has kept it soft and moisturized...as far as the growing part..I shall see! As far as it thickening I hope not bc my hair already thick! Again everyone's results are different doesn't mean it's a scam!

These reviews aren’t reflective of a scam; just sounds like the owner of this product need to improve their customer service practices and check the quality assurance of their product. I did read comments about the product causing headaches and hair loss which is a negative response to a hair product but that’s the experience some face when they try new products for the first time; it may have an adverse effect. Does that mean the product is harmful to everyone; no. I myself have not used the product because I read the ingredients first and decided this formula may be too intense for my hair but my sister uses the products and it’s working for her just fine.

Look everyone is entitled to their opinion and anyone can leave negative reviews on a product they've had a bad experience with; that’s the nature of retail and consumers have that right. However these comments are vicious; lawsuits and such. I mean you guys are talking like you personally know the owner and have receipts that the owner intentionally created this product to scam people. When it sounds like the owner may need to check the quality assurance of the product; it’s a new product. This business definitely need to improve their customer service practices. With the amount of refunds that are being overlooked is outrageous. With all that said, I really doubt the owner woke up with the intent to make a harmful product and then take money from innocent people.

Oh and by the way, please stop saying “black-owned” - how is the black community ever going to overcome inequality when there is always this need to mention you're black; you automatically separate yourself And impose that you’re not equal and you should get a break for being black like it’s a negative thing. Please stop doing that; support black businesses because they are integral and provide services and products that are superior not only because the business owner is black. We are one race and business is business; it has nothing to do with color.

If they take your money and do not respond to any form of communication and provide false tracking information. That is a SCAM! Do not buy from them. It is not about their race, culture or ethnicity. It is simply about a company taking money from people with no intention of delivering product. How do you know the comments about receiving product etc are even real?!

I hate seeing all of the negative reviews regarding this black owned product! I purchased this oil and received in less than a week which is amazing due to the virus that has hit our nation. My ex husband had applied this oil to my as well as my daughters scalp every night for 2 weeks and in the areas where I’ve never had hair, my hair has began to grow. My 12 year old daughter stared having problems with thinning edges and in 2 weeks her edges have filled in. I don’t understand all of the bad reviews unless most of the reviews are to keep this company down :-(... we spend tons of money on everything else and even spend $60 or more fake designer bags while walking around with no edges but complain about the price of a $24,48, ect bottle of hair growth serum that actually works in regrowing those areas women are having problems with! Unbelievable! I have spent more on products that caused my hair to come out and still will not give bad reviews on those products just because it didn’t work for me does not mean it won’t my work for others. I love ginger root due to the health benefits it provides and when I had my mother to buy we learned that she was allergic. I’m like who is allergic to anything natural? I learned just because it’s natural doesn’t mean it’s for everyone! My mother wasn’t upset with the ginger root or me for suggesting she buy it, she said what may be good and work for most individuals may very well not work for some.

So, I'm not the only one. Uxorious Love, and all the others that have posted concerning this company Hollywood Hair Bar. I graciously join you in believing, knowing and acknowledging that this company is a SCAM!
I have a mother in the church who lost her hair ,in her battle of cancer. She is in remission and have been for a long time but was looking for something to help grow her hair back. I always see the advertisements on Facebook and decided I would get a bottle for her to try. I placed my order on 7/7/20. The first thing I notice was that I ordered only a $24.99 bottle but was billed exactly $56.04. Why? Because apparently when you skip over the items that is offered to you, the company assume you want them anyway. So my order had two bottles of serum and one edge control. I just wanted the Mother to try it because nothing else worked. Once I saw the mistake, I reached out via email ( there is no phone number, to call) I received an email stating it said on the site "No Refund No Exchange." Which it didn't (well not in plain view) .If you push the link that says returns it does. And I sent an email stating that. No answer. I accepted that. Then I started getting emails to track my shipment. It was due to arrive on 7/18/20, but on 7/17/20. I was told it was returned to sender for the wrong address. I looked at my receipt and the address and all was correct, then I looked at the other receipt, the same.address correct. So I looked at the address that was said to be incorrected at the post office...the zip code was incorrect on that one only. So i reached out once again via email, as of this day. I still haven't received an answer. I stated to them via email , first of all if any part of the address had been incorrect, you couldn't had received the payment, except the fact and admit, someone in your company put the wrong zip code on it. And all I'm asking is for the product or my refund. I had initially accepted your company policy...NO REFUND NO EXCHANGE, for business is business after all. I have gotten no answer, no refund, no product and I'm especially glad NOT to have gotten the product, but I do want my money. And as I explained in my last two email, I will do what I have to do to get it back.

And even though, I don't have to address the comments about taking someone livelihood, or that's why a black person can't make it in business. I am, because I speak for no one but myself ,by all means
And I am a Black business owner, with integrity, honesty, loyalty and the ability to understand that each and every customer I serve , I value their business, for it is my livelihood, it put food on my table, pays my bills and it is the very source that have been giving to me to do just that! So I treat each and every individual, with respect, as I myself would want to be treated. I appreciate and acknowledge the fact that they chosen me to do business with. I understand, that people work hard for their money and times are perilous...so I don't take advantage of that. That's why, my customers come back to me. And when a problem arise, I address it and make it right for my customers. I don't hide behind an email address,I take their calls. So don't you dare, talk about its our fault that a black person can't make it because we are tearing them down. STOP SHOWING YOUR IGNORANCE! And understand SHE IS TEARING HERSELF DOWN! Always want to blame others! We have to first accept responsibility for our own action! Its NOT other blacks that tear , black business down! Its that ignorance of the person, wanting to not accept the responsibility for their own actions and feeling as if someone owe them something, that tears them down! If the owner or whoever was NOT! IS NOT ! Trying or doing wrong, these people nor I would have NOTHING, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT! And understand, NO ONE, can tear you down better than yourself! All that foolishness about blacks tear each other down ! When we try to support , this what we're suppose to have to deal with? There is many, many, many successful black owned businesses out there, including the majority of my family members. But I can guarantee you, its not because they treated people like this. And one of the main problem, is always blaming others. I will leave you with this, remember, each and every persons that commented are real people that this company have taken advantage of. People that place orders believing in what they saw in your advertisements. Trusting that whomever will deliver what they are selling, and it won't cause them harm nor did they expect to be cheated. They ordered a product, paid their monies. Some got their products, and it wasn't what they was told it would be. Many didn't receive NOTHING, monies just took and some changed their minds (which they have the right to do) So think about that, and ask yourself, us that the way you would want to be treated?

I had just put 4 bottles in my cart and decided to read the reviews first. Glad I did. Won't be making that purchase. It seems that only 1 person (Proverbs31) is defending just because it is a black owned business. I quite frankly don't care what color you are. If your product is not up to expectations, people are going to complain. If you ignore the complaints, quite frankly, you're not a good business person and should recognize that. Proverbs31 must either be a business partner or family member. Either way, you need to get another person to defend the accusations or get a new handle for replies. Better yet, just stop the madness. The product is obviously bad so work on a new formula that does what you claim it does. Hit me up when you've done that. I will support a BO business all day everyday! You just have to come correct.

Okay my name is Angela Whitman and I had ordered a hair serum from a company named "Hollywood Hair Bar" but I changed my mind about wanting the product and demanded that they put back my $76.63 back on my card after I send their product back to them. So the next day I returned their product back to them but they have not responded to me at all or refunded my money back to my card. And they say you can contact them by phone but when you do all you get is a voice message everytime! So could someone help me by getting ahold of them and let them know that I really need my $76.63 refunded back to me on my card. And my email address is: [email protected] .
