I reserved and paid for a rental car at this business 4 days before I flew home from NYC. I've included a screenshot of the required documents needed to pick up the vehicle. When I arrived the car company said they could not give me a car because in addition to my DL and proof of insurance, they needed a gas, water, or electric bill to prove my California residency. I didn't have such documents 1. because I didn't know I needed them and 2. because those bills are included in my rent and I don't have such documents. They said they couldn't give me and car and to contact Holiday Autos for a refund. When I told Holiday Autos what happened, they refused to issue a refund and tried to leave the conversation before a resolution. They said it was listed in the terms in conditions in small print (which wasn't included until the voucher after the payment). There was no information up front about California residents and the picture below on my receipt makes no mention of it. They are misleading people and then taking their money. Three people ahead of me in line had the same experience and if you read their reviews online, everyone is saying they're a scam, which my exact experience. I paid for a car, I wasn't able to obtain it, and they refused a refund. Please look into this so this doesn't happen to others! Thank you
