I'm not going to waste my time retyping this.... ScamPulse.com needs to work on their website because I tried submitting 2 Claims already and I get to the end and it won't submit. It just cancels out and then I have to re-enter EVERY piece of information I just gave. Bottom line is keep an eye out for these names and this company name: Mike McLauren (562)209-1545, Olson Randy (via Telegram APP), Roche Holding AG Pharmaceutical, [email protected] (person who sent me the check through Email). These were the names and contacts of the people who were trying to scam me. They did an IM interview, I never spoke over the phone with anyone. I was offered the job the same day and sent a check for $1200 that was supposed to be used to purchase office materials. However, to purchase these materials, Olson Randy told me I needed to purchase BitCoin through the CashApp. He stated that the "local vendor" (I asked several times for the name of the vendor and was only given that) uses BitCoin as their currency for materials. Which did not make sense whatsoever. He was persistent in having me do this and I asked to speak with someone from HR or a supervisor several times. All attempts were shut down or redirected by him. I tried to call the number for Mike McLauren, the person who initially reached out to me, and the phone was off. These people are ruining lives and I pray we see some real justice in today's world. So many people can't catch a break when they are truly just trying to earn for their family. We are so discouraged to apply for any job because of these issues and the lack of verification and security these job boards have. We try to apply to places in person, like people did before technology was so big, and we get redirected to "apply online" It's no wonder people in my cohort are deemed lazy and thats because we have to go through so many obstacles just to try to be able to afford a living. I am 25 years old and I have been looking for work for about a year now and this is the third time I have been scammed through a job board. You can't trust any platforms and you can't trust people anymore.
