Hey I'm glad I found this. He asked me to do illustration work for him, and then after sent a follow up email saying that he will pay me double...already I had some doubts as I couldn't find his website...but then after that second email it was obvious it was a scam. Ugh...I gave some of my info earlier because I thought he would pay half the amount up front as that's usually the case with illustration work. Glad I didn't start working, but annoyed that he wasted my time. So yeah, definitely not legit!

They just contacted me for an interview. Im so glad I read your complaint. I've been scammed way more than I have a legit offer of employment . I'm starting to question these job sites. I tend to think they're selling our info or they are the scammers.

My full name, home address, current position, phone number, and email was asked of me from a job posted on Indeed. The job description was a Service Appointment Setter position that offered $500 for 15 hours work 3 days a week. I wasn't aware of the scam until I read other people's comments on Indeed about the job being fake, and unfortunately for me I had already submitted my info to this person. I'm filing a complaint against Indeed for not having tighter background checks for the employers and their businesses. A lot of people use this site in hopes of finding employment and shouldn't have to worry about their information being jeopardized. I'm extremely angry and if not vindicated I will take legal action against Indeed.com
