I received an employment offer from a Japanese company (Hitachi Metals Ltd), that used the ScamPulse.com site to ascertain my name. I have visited what looks to be an authentic website (www.hitachimetalsltd), and on this site they warn of a possible scam that is circulating under their business name. I did give my name, business name, address, phone number, and email address to this entity - as they requested - in order to receive more details about their offer. After receiving an immediate response, and experiencing odd glitches in the process such as a customer of mine's text message in my email browser when I woke this morning, I suspected foul play. I have deleted all correspondence with this entity - everything associated with email communication - in an effort to eliminate the footprint that may allow this entity to hack me, so unfortunately I cannot provide the direct mail associated with this apparent scam.
