On January 6, 2023 I visited https://www.historicjerseys.com/ online to help my 9 year old son purchase a CJ Stroud Ohio State jersey. This website was shared repeatedly on Facebook by a pro athlete and appeared to be legitimate. My son picked out the jersey and bought it with his own money by giving me some of his Christmas money and I made the mistake of purchasing it with my debit card versus a credit card - trusting the legitimacy of the website. I know now this website/operation is fraudulent for a few reasons. 1. After purchasing my debit card was compromised and needed replaced. 2. We have never received the jersey which should have been a 10-20 day turnaround. 3. I called the number (voicemail is not accepting messages) and emailed (which bounced back). I would really like to warn others not to purchase from this website. I'm guessing a refund is out of the question, but if at all possible it would be great since the jersey was literally paid for by a 9 year old's Christmas money. The debit card we used was compromised so no longer active. Would need to be a check refund, but again I know that's a stretch with little to no chance of happening. Thank you for your time and consideration of this request - especially in determining who is behind this and shutting down the fraudulent website.
