Received an Email to download Signal app and message this person at this number (623-210-6767) for an immediate interview. Started to download Signal and stopped to do some research that lead me here.

Type of a scam Employment
I was contacted via Email (And then told to download a Secure message app called Signal, and message someone in particular)
I did so, and we conducted the interview entirely via text (Including what the job entails/interview questions/such)
I was hired a few hours after I answered the last of the interview questions
Afterwards I was told I was going to receive some paper work (employee agreement thing), and I got it, signed, and returned it.
immediately after I was told of the hardware/software I would need (since I would be doing stuff in finance, I would need a separate work PC)
Was told to expect a check to buy the stuff through their supplier.
It took a couple days, but I recived it ($7,300) and (after being unable to deposit it due to being unable to get to my bank)
I looked up the bank to try and confirm the check, but they could not, and several things point to it being a fake check (including no water mark, and being made out to "Frost National Bank" which is separate from "Frost Bank" and the national does not seem to exist... anywhere)
