I got an email claiming to be from Aetion about a job offer. I had an interview via Teams and a brief phone interview and they offered me a job. I sent them my info and signed the job offer. Days later I was speaking to the "employee" and he told me to cash a check and use it to buy equipment. He had me send the "equipment payments" to strange accounts. Later he asked me for my credit card info and at that point I was sure it was a scam.
